Ah Christmas in Florida

For all you folks that live far above (or below) the belt line of this great world and complain about the weather when it gets cold all I have to say is Bah-humbug! See, down here, on the dick handle of North America, it is like a constant summer. Seriously, I could go to the beach today and be just fine! Yes, yes doesn't that sound fantastic to all you stuck in the snow. Well guess what! It sucks!!! I mean really... There is no pretty colors falling from the sky in "fall" no planes of glistening white to gaze upon in "winter" and no fresh green grass and blossoms to see in "spring". It is 100% summer all the time. Yes, it can be nice to go out in a spaghetti strap dress on Christmas but it gets kinda old.

Just picture this,
Brown grass in the spring, summer, and fall because the sun is so hot that the grass is literally burned alive. And during winter the "frosty" 60 degree weather only lasts a couple months which is hardly enough time for the grass to spring up again and the flowers to bloom. So, unless you are old or have arthritis then Florida is a crappy place to be.

Now for some good news.
I finished my classes for the fall.
Heat or not, Christmas is coming and I have proof. My first Christmas card came today!

And, I only have to get a gift for 1 more person and a box of chocolate covered cherries for my dad and then I am all set to go!
